TRAQER.AI REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

This Refund & Cancellation Policy ("Policy") explains how refunds, cancellations, billing, and subscription management are handled for Traqer.ai ("Traqer," "we," "our," or "us"). This Policy is part of and incorporated into our Terms of Use.

By subscribing to or purchasing the Service, you agree to this Policy. We encourage you to read this Policy carefully before subscribing.

1. Free Trial

1.1 Trial PeriodTraqer offers a 7-day free trial of the Service. The free trial allows you to evaluate the Service before committing to a paid subscription.

1.2 Free-to-Paid ConversionYour free trial is a "free-to-paid conversion" under applicable law. If you provide a payment method at signup, your trial will automatically convert to a paid monthly subscription at the end of the 7-day trial period unless you cancel before the trial expires. All disclosures and consent requirements applicable to automatically renewing subscriptions apply to this free trial.

1.3 Express Consent RequiredBefore your free trial begins, we will clearly present the automatic renewal terms, including the subscription price and billing frequency. You must provide your express affirmative consent to these auto-renewal terms separately from your acceptance of our general Terms of Use. We will retain a record of your consent as required by applicable law.

1.4 Pre-Conversion NoticeBefore your trial converts to a paid subscription and before we charge your payment method, we will send you a reminder notice that includes:

  • Confirmation that your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel
  • The length and terms of the renewal period
  • The amount you will be charged and the frequency of charges
  • The method(s) by which you may cancel, including a direct link to the cancellation process
  • Our contact information

1.5 Failure to Cancel If you do not cancel before the trial expires, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid monthly subscription at the applicable rate. We do not provide retroactive refunds for failure to cancel a trial before conversion, except where required by applicable law.

2. Subscription Billing

2.1 Monthly Plans Traqer offers monthly subscription plans. Current pricing is displayed at the point of subscription and within your account settings. Subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly basis until canceled.

2.2 Recurring Charges By subscribing and providing your express affirmative consent to the auto-renewal terms, you authorize recurring monthly charges to your selected payment method until you cancel your subscription.

2.3 Annual Renewal Reminders For active subscriptions, we will send you an annual reminder that includes:

  • The product or service to which the subscription applies
  • The frequency and amount of charges associated with your subscription
  • Instructions for how to cancel your subscription, including a direct link

This reminder will be sent via the same medium through which you activated your subscription or through which you customarily interact with Traqer.

2.4 Fee Changes If we change our subscription pricing, we will provide you with advance notice no fewer than 7 days and no more than 30 days before the fee change takes effect. This notice will include the new pricing and clear instructions on how to cancel your subscription if you do not wish to continue at the new rate. Your continued use of the Service after the fee change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing.

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 How to Cancel. You may cancel your subscription at any time using any of the following methods:

  • In-App: Use the prominently located "Cancel Subscription" button in your account settings.
  • Online: If you subscribed through our website, you may cancel through your web account settings.
  • Email: Send a cancellation request to support@traqer.ai. We will process your cancellation and send confirmation within 2 business days.

We are committed to making cancellation as easy as signing up. We will not obstruct, delay, or impose unnecessary steps on your ability to cancel your subscription. If we present you with any offers or information during the cancellation process, a "Cancel Subscription" button will always be simultaneously and prominently displayed.

3.2 Same-Medium Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription through the same medium you used to sign up for the Service, or through the medium you customarily use to interact with Traqer. If you signed up online, you can cancel online.

3.3 Effect of Cancellation. When you cancel:

  • Future billing stops immediately.
  • You retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period.
  • No refunds are issued for the unused portion of the current billing period, except where required by applicable law.

3.4 Cancellation Confirmation. We will send you a confirmation of your cancellation via the same medium you used to cancel or via email, whichever is applicable.

4. Refunds

4.1 General Policy. All subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or as otherwise described in this Policy.

4.2 Exceptions. We generally do not provide partial, prorated, or retroactive refunds. However, we may, at our sole discretion, issue refunds or credits on a case-by-case basis in situations involving documented service outages, billing errors, or other exceptional circumstances.

4.3 Compliance with Law. Nothing in this Policy limits any rights you may have under applicable federal, state, or local law, including but not limited to California's Automatic Renewal Law (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code §§17600–17606). To the extent any provision of this Policy conflicts with applicable law, the applicable law will govern.

5.2 Resolution Timeline. We will acknowledge your billing error report within 10 business days and will investigate and resolve any verified billing mistakes within 30 business days. If we determine that a billing error occurred, we will promptly issue a correction or refund to your original payment method.

6. Chargebacks & Disputes

6.1 Contact Us FirstWe bly encourage you to contact us at support@traqer.ai before initiating a dispute with your bank or credit card issuer. We are committed to resolving billing concerns directly and promptly.

6.2 Effect of ChargebacksIf a chargeback is initiated without prior good-faith effort to resolve the issue with Traqer, we reserve the right to review your account status. We will always provide you with notice and an opportunity to resolve any outstanding issues before taking any account action.

7. Consent Records & Data Retention

We retain records of your express affirmative consent to our auto-renewal and subscription terms for a minimum of three (3) years or one (1) year after your subscription is terminated, whichever period is longer, in accordance with California law. 8. Governing Law & Disputes

This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Policy are subject to the dispute resolution provisions set forth in our Terms of Use.
